This is a great version of the Hurricane. They are quite light and comfortable, however, be sure to order only 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size, as these run quite large. Usually, I wear a size 6 street shoe and size 7 Saucony (Hurricane) – but I had to send the 7s back for 6 1/2s – which fit quite nicely.
A bit too silvery in color for my taste, but I think the fit matters more than the aesthetic, for me anyway.
This is the first pair of Sauconys I’ve ever worn, but see all my running friends wearing them and thought I’d give them a try. They’re super light weight yet very well cushioned and comfortable on my long runs, even without and insole! Seemed very true to size. Will most likely stick with Sauconys for running from now on, I love them!
I love Saucony and have been a big fan of their shoes for years. However the progrid seems to run wider than their other shoes. I prefer this brand beacause I have a narrow foot. I wear a 10 in their other styles but a 9.5 might have been better.
I have used this line of running shoes for ten years. The updates just keep getting better. Good support and great for me..my right foot pronates but forgets to supinate. The item was described in detail and I really knew what I needed before I started looking on Amazon.
