I bought this as a gift for my husband, who is learning to golf. At first, it took a while for the green mat to ‘flatten’ out and he was considering returning the gift. However, after putting books on the mat for a few days he decided to try the putting and likes how accurately the return mechanism works.
This is great. The iron tip (iron with steam) works- smooth and the ball rolls smoothly.
The noise is kinda loud, but I think I’m going to try to fill the plastic hollowness with some spray foam- should help.
Great product, the return is really designed well. it shoots back fast, controlled and leaves the ball right in the middle of the green strip!

The concept and the mechanics on this are good but when mine came the mat was crushed and had creases all up and down it. I laid Chicago city phone books and 300 lbs. of weight onto it for a week and they are still there. I can use it but there are still bobbles all up and down it. Just keep the box so you can ship it back because unfortunatly I threw mine out too soon and customer service said there wasn’t anything they could do about it!
This 9′ putting green should help my short game immensley. The return mechanism works perfectly. I read a few reviews that complain about the folds and seams in the carpet. Even the instructions suggest using a bunch of phone books to flatten-out the surface. Don’t listen to them!! – A regular garment IRON at medium heat with some steam works perfectly! After 5 minutes there wasn’t a ripple to be found and now each putt rolls true and strait.
Great value, and the return mechanism makes it so simple to get high reps.
