First off Tony Horton is great. He does a great job, he is funny as hell and makes the workouts enjoyable. P90X was excellent and so is P90X plus. We should all feel fortunate to have Tony Horton and P90X/P90X plus, as well as One-on-One with Tony Horton. Why anyone would want to spend money on a personal trainer at a gym when you have these DVD's is beyond me. The only complaints I have is similar to some other reviewers. The moves require a little more to get use to and they do not give you enough time to write down your reps and weight. But both are easily solved with watching them do the move and reversing a little or pause to get weights and write down reps/weight. I bought my P90X and P90X Plus from beachbody.com website. P90X Plus cost me $59.95 and Push up stands $39.95. I like Amazon but why not go straight to the source for these products. Everything arrived within 5 days (and I live in Hawaii). I am 49 years old and in the best shape ever. Buying P90X products are the smartest move anyone can make.

HATED IT.

The P90X series of workouts was great and extremely effective. The P90X Plus workouts aren't workouts at all. They're infomercials for Bowflex, Power Stands, and Pull up bars. The exercises are extremely contrived and often just plain painful. Don't waste your money here.

My husband ordered this workout with good intentions that we would get in great shape. We tried it a year ago and quickly put it away. It was difficult and too much for out of shape people, which it states it is not for. A few months ago I dusted it off and went to work. It was difficult but the instruction and exercise execution is stellar. At first my sore back became much more sore and I continued because it wasn't pain, just lots of soreness from being a couch potato. The DVD gives warnings against using if in pain or out of shape. It is intended for people who are already in shape. I was not in shape. My knees which are always sore due to running injuries also became rock solid and no more soreness. I have also been able to return to running which Physical Therapy and pain meds have not accomplished. I'm sure my success and elimination of major body pain is most likely an exception but a welcome one as I've tried many things over the last 10 years to return to my love of running. This DVD will strengthen your body if done in the order in which is listed in the book. I did have to skip the second week of Yoga which aggravated my back too much. No problem now though. Returned to it shortly after. Thank you P90X.

I have purchased items on-line only once. This particular video I bought is broken. One of the 4 cd's doesn't even work. I spent $60 for videos that look like they have been copied and resealed. What's up with that? Can I return these?
