I like Merrell's style and construction. They make a solid shoe that holds up to a lot of wear and tear. This is my first pair of the GORE-TEX variety. They seem to run a little smaller than a previous pair of non-GORE-TEX Merrells that I own. Overall, I'm very happy with this pair of shoes.

Good shoes.
It's very confortable, but this size looked to me smaller than I was accustomed. I had already bought some Salomon and all of them with the size fit very well. This is the first impression... Later after some use maybe it fit better... I don't know.
This model and color is ery beautifl too!!

I purchase this shoe originally because I work outside in all kinds of weather conditions. I have tried many other waterproof shoes and weatherproof boots, usually the ones that were the most watertight were the ones that were big and clunky and uncomfortable. I have been looking for a while and stumbled across this pair of Gore-tex shoes. I ordered a pair and wore them the next day pushing carts in pouring rain. I worked outside for about 8 hours that day, and my feet stayed completely dry and even better, they were very comfortable all day too! I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone for just about any type of use involving walking and different weather conditions.

I enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle and this is where brand name really means something. I have tremendous faith in Merrell's committment to producing a rugged shoe that keeps my feet dry, comfortable and protected. I have three total pairs of different style Merrells. Considering the price of each, I think it says a lot about my faith in the brand and the product.

I bought a pair of Merrell Chameleon Evos 5 weeks ago and had been using them 4 or 5 days a week on the treadmill (hour each session) and a couple of times a week at Thunderbird Park here in Glendale, AZ. The terrain there is usually hot with very sharp and jagged rocks attacking your feet/shoes from every direction. I hike hard and run for about 45 minutes when I go there. The Chameleon Evos were doing great, very grippy and comfortable, lightweight but protective and very breathable. Then yesterday the sole started falling apart on me. Big chunks of tread ripped off and another chunk dangling. I took them back to the store and fortunately they said they could defect them back to Merrell and give me a store credit, but that the fact of the matter was probably more likely the Evos weren't designed for such hardcore abuse. I looked around at what else they had and settled on these Moabs. I got the gore-tex because I'm going to be running around in wet canyons up in the Mogollon Rim country in the summer with them and taking trips back home to Michigan. Anyway, I have only had these for a day now but the salesman said he thought the soles of these were stiffer and had a higher carbon content than the Evos and might last me better. We'll see, I'll drop some comments to this review after I've had a chance to put them through the paces and see how they handle the punishment. I love Merrell and hope these are the ones for me!
